I don’t know about you, but between the Passover carb-fest and my gym being closed (the owner has been posting wonderful at-home workouts, this is totally on me that I’m not doing them), I weighed myself Sunday morning and was shocked but not surprised to see a significant difference, and not in the right direction. My clothes had already been telling me this story. I’ve clearly not been giving myself the kind of self-care I deserve.
It’s a new week – Passover is done for another year, the weather is getting warmer here (I went for my first run of the year!), and it’s time to get back on the horse.
So here are a few things I’m planning to do, and I hope you will do them with me! I would love to have some accountability partners.
- Drink a LOT of water. Ideally a gallon a day (that’s 3.8L). I’ve done it before, as part of a challenge, let’s see if I can do it again.
- Move my body EVERY DAY. Run/walk at least 3 times a week, and go back to my online gym workouts for the other days.
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep. This is hard because I have the discipline of a gnat when it comes to going to bed at a decent hour. I’m going to need HELP with that!
- Restart my low carb, high fat program that has worked so well for me in the past.
Starting TODAY, this will be my next 4 weeks. If you would like to come along for this ride with me, drop me a comment and let’s have a chat about it.
