Sometimes there are blessed serendipities in our lives. Rabbi Sommer had no way of knowing that today is my and my husband’s 25th wedding anniversary, and yet here it is – the theme is “Bless”.

David and I met at a time in our lives when we both thought we had to settle for what we could get. Both of us had been burned badly in relationships in the past, and neither of us could imagine that we would find each other and build a life in a new country.

We have been blessed with three wonderful children, and the adventure of raising babies and toddlers is now turning into the fascinating show of watching teenagers and young adults starting to navigate the waters of adulthood.

We are all reasonably healthy, and we live in a safe, beautiful and exciting city. What more could we ask for?
